We have a number of projects that seek to meet people’s needs at a practical or relational level and in doing this to demonstrate God’s love and share the hope we have.

Oasis Friendship Group
Here we offer a relaxed coffee shop environment for those aged 50 and over.  Friendship and refreshments make this an enjoyable place to pop into or stay over lunch. Every Tuesday (10.30am - 2.00pm)

Cosy Toes
A parent and toddlers group that runs twice a week with a variety of toys, crafts and activities to entertain children whilst their parents enjoy the company of other Moms and Dads….Wednesday’s and Friday’s (9.30am - 11.30am)

Acts in the Community
This project is reaching out to vulnerable and needy people in a practical and loving way. We aim to help by providing basic furnishings and domestic equipment as well as befriending those referred to us by city council Tenant Support Officers who support the work of ACTS.

Cameo
CLC works in partnership with Friends International to host a friendship group for International Ladies and especially wives of those studying here in Birmingham. Thursday’s (12.00 - 1.00pm)

ARK
ARK stands for Acts of Random Kindness and is a way people in our church can bless others at no cost to themselves.  Many shope today offer Buy One Get One Free deals on many goods.  Our ARK ministry encourages people to 'Give away the blessing' by passing on the FREE item so that we can give to people who have needs in our community.  Non-perishable food and household items can be a real gift to someone who finds it hard to provide for themselves or their family.
